As you can imagine, we see weddings of all themes, styles, and locales. Right now, we are extra inspired by a formal outdoor wedding; the juxtaposition of a traditional wedding dress against a natural setting is absolutely swoon-worthy. We took timeless gowns from our Spring 2019 David’s Bridal Collection to a gorgeous ranch outside of Los Angeles for this dreamy shoot.

First, this long sleeve, off-the-shoulder trumpet wedding dress is glam enough for a ballroom and for a rustic venue. Juniper green bridesmaid dresses channel the greenery of an outdoor setting.

We painted the town prom for our DB Prom 2K19 shoot! We took our prom squad around the city with some of our best prom 2019 dresses in tow. From pre-prom pictures to post-prom plans, get inspired for the night of your life in dresses that will make the memories extra beautiful!

Brooklyn Bridge Park

In search of the perfect prom picture venue? We nominate Brooklyn Bridge Park to take the crown! Shades of blue pop against the silver NYC skyline while cutout details mimic the details of the iconic bridge. Plus, there are so many Instagrammable moments as you head to the park, from the cool architecture to the carousel.

Chinatown

Introducing the fresh new wedding inspiration from our Galina Fall 2018 collection! This season boasts new bohemian wedding dresses for the girl who craves that laid-back feel. To capture the effortless elegance of our Fall collection, we took to a seaside escape among the hills of Malibu, CA for our campaign shoot. This backdrop was perfect for our latest styles; the breeze of the sea and the hidden hills mimic the getaway vibe of our Galina gowns. Keep reading for a closer look.

Four of the gowns we highlighted in this shoot are the epitome of what we envision of the Galina bride. We start with inherently bohemian wedding dresses that then feature a twist on classic bridal trends. Playful and unexpected elements make these gowns beautiful from all angles. First, this allover lace gown has long sleeves, a delicate eyelash trim along the neckline and cuffs, and opens up to a breezy keyhole back. Perfect for a wedding day with a forecast of coastal chills.

The bride wears this sultry and sweet tank sheath with thoughtfully placed lace for a flattering fit and a lace-up side panel for a sexy touch. Her Wine bridesmaids match her relaxed style in flowing dresses (aptly described as waterfall tiers).

Next, we styled our coveted low back spaghetti strap sheath. You might remember this gown from a couple seasons ago, but we couldn’t pass up styling this beach-perfect gown with some new accessories. Add a floral topper for the prettiest amount of coverage or a back necklace that highlights the extra-low swoop. Complementary v-neck bridesmaid dresses—with their feminine silhouette—take these effortless I dos to the next level.

Finally, for the boho bride who errs on the side of traditional, this tank ball gown dress has a textured skirt for an airy walk down the aisle and pretty butterfly-inspired bodice. Our Prom 2K18 photo shoot took us to Santa Monica Pier to tell the story of a group of friends having the night of their lives first on the dance floor, then continuing the fun at a carnival..while dressed in unique, elegant, sexy and all-around beautiful prom dresses, of course!

First, we converted the upstairs space of the Mexican restaurant at the very end of the pier into a photo studio. Since it was daytime when we began, we draped the entire space with blackout curtains and added neon lights to create a dance floor scene.

The detail. The texture. The sparkle. We heart embroidery for adding a wow factor.

Off-the-shoulder, two-piece and illusion prom dresses show a hint of skin without revealing too much.

Next, we took over Playland Arcade for some “post-prom” fun and games. The models had a blast playing air hockey and arcade games between (and during) shots.

A simple prom dress is far from boring in a luxe fabric like allover sequin or velvet.

Prom is your time to shine. Claim your dress then own it with accessories, hair and makeup that make it uniquely “you”.

Dancing, laughing, playing, snacking…these dresses have passed the “can you move in it” test with flying colors.

Once the sun set, we headed out to capture the energy of Pacific Park and take in the salty breeze and palm trees.

For our Galina Signature Spring 2018 photo shoot, we imagined a fun and fabulous party with the bride – decked out in glamours wedding dresses – at the center of it all.  To bring our vision to life, we partnered with one of our favorite sources of inspiration for weddings and parties, 100 Layer Cake, to guest produce the photo shoot. 100 Layer Cake‘s editors didn’t disappoint in their interpretation of a chic wedding after-party at a trendy hotel with plenty of bubbly for a vibe that was equal parts Hollywood glamour and California cool.

Our latest Galina Signature collection is full of modern, glamorous wedding dresses with dramatic high-low hemlines and sky-high slits, sexy sheer bodices, and deep plunging necklines. The wedding party was equally as chic in allover sequin bridesmaids dresses and jewel tones with glamorous details like cut outs, cold-shoulder sleeves and crystal embellishments.

 Look 1: Beaded Lace and Organza Two-Piece Wedding Dress

The bodice is crafted from over 3,000 beads and sequins ruffled high-low skirt is made from 35 yards of organza, and leads to a dramatic chapel train.

Look 2: Sheer Beaded Bodice Organza A-Line Wedding Dress

Featuring 5,000 hand-placed crystals, beads, and sequins on the sheer bodice, this dress is fit for an “It” girl. Shown in Ivory/Rose Water (also available in all Ivory.)

Look 3: Plunging V-Neck Beaded Illusion Wedding Dress

This slim sheath wedding dress is a dramatic show-stopper from the beaded lace bodice (over 4,500 beads were hand-applied!) and deep V-neck to the illusion back and high front skirt slit.

The Galina Signature bride is the life of the party – especially her own wedding party! Her bridesmaids’ dresses have deep V-necks that mirror the plunging neckline on her wedding dress.

Look 4: Mikado Sheath Wedding Dress with Slit Skirt

This wedding dress exudes classic Hollywood glamour with its minimal embellishments, luxe fabric, and dramatic skirt slit. Finish the look with sparkling accessories from head to toe.

For our Spring 2018 Galina collection creative shoot, we packed up some beautifully simple wedding dresses and headed to the desert to create the most breathtaking outdoor wedding scenes. We envisioned an easy-going bride with a past of spontaneously packing up and hitting the road, sleeping under the stars, and living in the moment and brought that unscripted vibe to her wedding day. Set in  Joshua Tree and surrounded by raw beauty, she’s ready to begin the next adventure with her partner and friends by her side.

Can we talk about this scenery? A nature-lovers dream! Rock formations and actual Joshua trees serves as the altar for this outdoor wedding. In addition to being picturesque, they provided our crew with some much needed shade in the stifling August heat.

Now, on to the dresses. For the bride, both gowns  featured soft floral details, a trend you’ll find in many of the refreshingly simple wedding dresses in the Galina collection. The first dress has 3D florals scattered across the  bodice and illusion corseted back. The second dress is an all-over, floral lace halter dress with a breezy back detail, perfect for a warm-weather wedding.  The bridesmaids wore bold brights, including flowy jumpsuits (!), and printed heels, to complement the Galina bride’s relaxed, eclectic style.

The most beautiful member of the bridal party is undeniably the bride, but the sweetest is the flower girl. For our Spring 2018 David’s Bridal Collection creative photo shoot, our traditional bride is joined by her flower girls outside after the ceremony, where the energy is exuberant and care-free. A lush green lawn makes for the perfect playground for the girls and puppies to bound around on with this classic bride in tow!

Flower girls are a timeless wedding tradition and we think the more flower girls, the better! The tiny attendants’ looks incorporated color, a trend we are loving from the little ‘maids to the bride. Whether their dresses match the rest of the bridesmaids or tie in the wedding color scheme with a coordinating sash, these flower girl dresses are cartwheel-tested and approved.

We’re a big fan of pets being a part of the wedding, and Steve the Pomeranian and Penny Lane the Corgi rounded out the bridal party as ring-bearers for our faux backyard garden nuptials. And their adorable mini-tuxes and bow ties had them looking the part. If this doesn’t convince you to include your pup in your ceremony, we don’t know what will!

Finally, we can’t forget to talk about the gorgeous gowns in the David’s Bridal Collection. Flattering necklines, classic silhouettes, and stunning back interest are just a few of the dress details captured for this shoot (can we talk about that bow?). In addition to these, you can expect even more coveted details like beaded bodices and full skirts from the rest of the assortment come 2018.

Remember the cartwheels we mentioned? Everyone, from our models to our crew, got in on the dizzying fun to celebrate the end of a gorgeous shoot!
